    Dell vendor and clevo vendor no difference from 7th gen gpu??

    Today, i am shocked by some info. I try to find gpu clevo 780m for p150sm. And someone contact me and said that maybe, from 7th gen nvidia card, there is no difference between clevo and dell. So he said dell 780m can be equipped to clevo p150sm... I am not sure whether this is true or not. Is it possible to put this dell card on my clevo p150sm ??

    unless things have changed and i doubt it then dell cards will not work in clevo laptops.

    i havent heard otherwise either. i would be very cautious spending money on a dell gpu intended for a clevo...do your due diligence!

    Agreed.. Dell cards mostly likely won't work in Clevo.. It's the other way around for Dell though :)

    Yeah, but that was mostly for the 2nd, 3rd gen cpus' clevo barebone right? I'll leave the result soon! And the dealer directly said to me that it will perfectly work on clevo. Even the gpu is from dell unit!

    I would be cautious as well, I am pretty sure the OEM matters for MXM GPUs of any kind...

    Yeah, that could be a costly mistake to make. I would stick to finding a Clevo MXM.
