Hello, I have in my P370EM Clevo's 7970M v1.1, which I have baked several times and which is the reason why I bought another 7970M (sadly Dell v1.2).

After flashing the new Dell card's vBios with latest Clevo 7970M vBios from techinferno I am able to run it in master slot, even crossfire is running.

BUT, no HDMI whatsoever. DP only without audio. When I flash Dell vBios to it I get no HDMI and no DP.

Anyone managed to run Dell's 7970M v1.2 in P370EM (or another Clevo) with fully working HDMI and/or DP with audio? Any recommended vBios?

If you have tried the native vbios then it's likely a clash in the HDCP setup and I have not heard of it being fixed.

I tried one of these when I upgraded my D900F from a 280m to Eurocom 680m.

It was supposed to bypass HDCP but unfortunately it didn't.

As far as I know with the 7970m the Dell card just NEVER works from what I remember it's a physical hardware issue not even a flash will help..but if you manage to do it I will keep a eye on this thread

The card it self works in P370EM. Even in crossfire with 2nd card being baked clevo v1.1

But i am unable to make HDMI work. DP is working on some vBios, but sadly without audio.

What if you use it as the secondary card and use the other for display outputs?

That would work. But I bought the new secondary card, because my old primary 7970M has been baked more than 8 times already. And I wanted to make my P370EM more reliable again (because other than the gpu issue, it works quite well [exclusive of battery, for obvious reasons - 5+ years old]).

So yeah. I could use the old card in master slot. But that would be against my primary goal, why I even purchased this card.

Thank for your input though ;-)

Ah I thought you had crossfire and had a secondary, nevermind.
