hey, guys i have a desktop with no Ethernet controller drivers, multimedia controler drivers, pci modem drivers or usb controller drivers. But it has 1394 network adapter driver. So what should i do to get those other drivers on the computer ? I don't know how to find out with ethernet controller drive it has to get those drivers from the internet .

Also the way the computer connects to the internet is by usb wireless adapter which..... sometimes comes on but now it never comes on Why ? Its the Zonet Zew2502 card. Please shine some light on my problems - Thanks !

    Visit the motherboard manufacturer website.

How do I find the motherboard model number ? Without having to open the computer or installing everest / other application. I can't find what motherboard is in from device manager since I guess its not a device.

    Thanks

This is a desktop - just open the case and look around on the motherboard.

I'm sure you can find something in System Information or DirectX diagnostic or whatever gives you some information. If you bought the computer in-store, just search for the model of the computer. If it was custom built, you should know which mobo is inside.

cpuz will list what motherboard you have and does not need to be installed.
