    Hi all,

Recently I bought a replacement for my faulty Acer Aspire 7552G. After few weeks of searching, reading and brain overheating I chose to buy laptop based on Clevo.
As P370xx is nice upgrade ready machine this was the preferable model. And after some online research I have found this powerful monster (yeah I know there is plenty of newer models with more power but they are also much more expensive):
Deviltech Hellmachine / Clevo 370EM - short spec:
    LCD: FHD Chi Mei 173HGE
    CPU: i7-3630QM
    RAM: 32GB Kingston PC3 12800
    GPU: 2xGTX670MX 2x3GB in SLI
    WLAN: Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N 1202
    SSD: 250GB Samsung 840
    HDD: Samsung Momentus 750GB
    DVD RW: present
    Windows 8.1 OEM

I paid for it 800€ on ebay, in my opinion this is a nice deal - what's the community opinion?
Those are few picteres before I cleaned and repasted this little toy ;D :

PS. Later I will post some more information together with benchmarks and some charts.

With the Prema system bios you can go 980M in the future if you want more performance too :)

Nice system with lots of modding potential :)

Big upgrade from your current setup too.

Gtx 980m is too expensive right now, maybe I will buy used one some day ;) For now I'm looking forward to change CPU because mine i7-3630qm can't be overclocked

@Prema bios flashed - thank you man for your great work!
@svl7 vbios flashed - also big thanks for your time spent on this!

    And temperature chart

As you all see there was a problem with slave GPU, I had to change the way I put thermal compound on the chip. After repasting once again with more of the MX-2 paste temps of the slave GPU gone down 10 Celsius degree. I am lazy and I will not put another charts, just imagine that this higher line is 10 units lower ;)
There was no hardware mods used yet so I can go lower for sure. To be honest this clevo cooling should be better. Don't take me wrong I still love this toy :D

    Best regards,
    Patryk

Thanks! Yes it is a huge upgrade for me and I am almost happy that one of the chips on my Acer 7552G motherboard died

MX-2 is terrible for these machines. I suggest IC Diamond or Gelid GC Extreme for your cards.

Hm.... If you say so I will have to change this thermal compound faster - I have Gelid GC Extreme in the drawer :) Do you recommend polish of the heatsink surface that have contact with the paste? Hm... I think I will do some pictures with the questions in the near future.

Heatsink lapping is always good, I think. Make sure your GC Extreme did not expire. It *DOES* have a shelf life.

I'm quite sure that even with it being expired, it will do better then MX-2... This is how bad MX-2 is lol..
