I recently sent an e-mail to Clevo.

"I will be in the market later this year for a notebook. I really like the AudioDJ control panel on the M570U. However, I will be looking at 15.4" notebooks since I need a notebook that is somewhat portable and isn't as heavy as a 17" one.

The problem is that the only 15.4" notebook you had was the M560A and there hasn't been any new 15.4" model released since then with the AudioDJ control panel. Will there be a new model coming out within the next 6-9 months that is a 15.4" with this control panel? "

Thanks to my e-mail client I was able to find out that not only did they not read it, but they deleted it without ever opening it up. WTF? I sent the e-mail to [email protected] and they recieved it so what gives.

sorry, Clevo does NOT deal with the end-user directly. They only deal with their distributors and resellers/vendors.

You have to contact one of those vendors/resellers in the Clevo Guide to even get an answer.

I have to give you some impressions about the new Clevo models [from observations and discussions]:
    - it is very likely that Clevo has moved away from using the Audio DJ on any newer models [I could be wrong, but it seems to be so]
    - it is uncertain that Clevo would release a 15.4" gaming notebook anytime soon
    - asking the vendors might not help because they do not work with rumors, mainly facts [from Clevo themselves].

I see. So then the current model Sager NP2080 is going to remain their only 15.4" gaming notebook?

Well nobody's sure about Clevo's future releases right now. But it does seem pretty uncertain that they might release a 15.4" gaming laptop.
But they could surprise everyone and release one o_O

The Sager 2080 is actually a re-branded Compal HEL80 [which is an awesome bang for the buck notebook]. Its NOT a Clevo though.

Sager just recently added this [as well as the 14.1" Compal HGL-30] to their line because they needed a 15.4" gaming notebook for people to choose from, but Clevo [which was what they exclusively carried] did not have any announcements for new 15.4" notebooks. So they had no choice but to re-brand another 15.4" notebook to get some piece of the sub-17" gaming notebook market.
