Difference between Schenker and XMG?

Hi, i've been looking at my options for a Clevo laptop and i'm trying to narrow my options.
I looked at the MYSN site and they have XMG and Clevo, XMG is apparantly the gaming brand and Schenker the business brankd. I like schenker more due to the blue colors and more "stealth" logo but why are the prices higher on Schenker models, is there a hardware difference?

 

XMG is a Gaming models and Schenker typical Workstation or Office machines.

You could probably send a private message to the XMG reps that are on the forum here as well. I know they hang out here and answer questions often.

Yes, this is exactly almoust the same models. But some have quadro gpu or integrated gpu. Typical XMG is with GTX GPU.

There are unique models in each sub brand but also some overlapping models. XMG is gaming orientated so you will find features like G-Sync here whereas in the Schenker range you won't - for example the XMG U506 is the same chassis as the Schenker W506, but with different options.

The Schenker B and S series are not mirrored in the XMG range.

You also have the PCs in the XMG section, plus the Core series which are Gigabyte chassis, the rest of the XMG laptops use Clevo chassis.

Any pricing difference between equivalent XMG and Schenker models should be down to spec and not anything else. To use the U506 and W506 as a comparison again, the U506 starts with a 970M with G-Sync GPU whereas the W506 starts with a 965M GPU without G-Sync.

 

Ahh i see, i was looking exactly at the U506 and W506 models and i just want to make sure, they're based off the p75xdm right?

That's correct, both use the Clevo P751DM chassis.
