    Hello,

Wanted to know what's the difference between NP9280 (D900F) and NP9285 (D900F? or D901F?) except videocard.

I see one difference on the barebone, the DC Input type:

on NP9285 is MALE ( Sager NP9285 Review)
    on NP9280 it's FEMALE ( Notebookcheck: Sager NP9280)

    Do you know why ?

I've seen a website that say the 480m might not work on "DC Input female type".

What are the difference between the 2 motherboards (though was the same) ?

    Thanks

    Take a look at this:

Clevo Laptop Parts :: D900F :: Motherboard for Clevo D900F - R&J Technology, Clevo Barebone Notebook kits, Laptop and desktop system builder

It seems that there are 2 versions of D900F

Ok so it's just an "official statement support" and not any hardware limitation.

Why CLEVO changed the DC Input type ? :x
It's more easy to damage the MALE input type.... dunno why CLEVO puts the MALE type on the barebone instead on the AC Adapter like before...
