    Hi

On the Alienware computers, you have different heatsink, depending on you have an "Budget" or "Extreme" CPU.

Is it the same on Clevo?

Reason why I ask is because Clevo 375S is only avalible with the stupid 4700M CPU here in Norway. Wonder if I can just buy an 4940XM and install it withour searching for a upgraded CPU fan.

    Hi !
If you are buying a 57w core i7, you will have a full copper heasink for your CPU, if you are buying a 47w or less, you will have a heatsink with aluminium fins, and copper heatpipe /plate....

AFAIK only the 15" laptops come with aluminum fins on the CPU heatsink, all 17" laptops are full copper.

Yup, this difference in heatsinks is only for P15xSM vs P17xSM. My P170EM (previous gen.) has a full copper CPU heatsink, even though I bought it with a basic quad core CPU (i7-3630QM, 45W).

Yes the heatsink only varies by model of machine (regardless of CPU), this can also be true for power circuitry.

I don't know, his question is answered, soooo... I,ll just ask my question:
Are there other heat sinks or even watercooling for clevos? I know these things for alienware so it would be possible.

The Alienware water block was a prototype that never went commercial. Takaezo modded an H100i waterblock to fit the P570WM, check it out here.

Well, that would annoy me as hell, but it looks awesome.

No watercooling because it would suck in a notebook. They are two concepts that do not work together unless we get a fundamental change in the mechanics of water cooling.
