    Hi all,

I have had my Malibal 8130 for a while now and I love it!

However the only flaw I can find is that the volume up and down buttons (Fn Keys) are RIGHT beside the sleep button. I don't always look at the keys when I'm pressing them and have often hit the sleep button by accident. Is there any way to disable a few of these keys?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately because they are tied at the hardware level to the computer (Embedded Controller), there really isn't a way to disable them. As windows doesn't see the FN key combinations as keys because they are handled before they get to windows.

The best you'll be able to do is to find a third party key remapping program that will let you create new volume key shortcuts that you can bind elsewhere. It won't replace the FN keys, but it will let you have a set that aren't next to the sleep button.

What I did is set windows to 'do nothing' when the sleep button is pressed (it's under advanced power options). Did the trick for me.
