Been getting that a few times on the M980NU.
Installed the newest drivers for the 280M from nVidia. I've even uninstalled and installed the driver, and it's still happening. Anybody have any suggestions?
I'm probably going to try going back to an older driver later tonight and see if that works.

Yea, this is a pretty widespread problem with both Nvidia and ATI cards. With Nvidia it's "nvlddmkm.sys" and with ATI it's "atikmdag.sys". I'd check this fix out for Vista, and see if it works with Win7:

try cleaning the old driver in safe mode with driver cleaner pro before loading it again.

Anyway, I downgraded drivers back to the default one that Pro-Star gave me, we'll see if it still happens.
