SORRY NOT UNDERCLOCK - I MEANT UNDER VOLT!

    2.4ghz core 2 duo T7700 OVER-CLOCKED TO 2.7GHz

    Stock

    12x multi VID 1.2250

    Stable under-volt

    12x multi VID 1.1875

thats a difference of just .0375
and it managed to shave just 3*C off my temp.....

very disappointed to be honest, not sure if its even worth it.

But your CPU is overclocked. Does`nt that mean it needs close to the standard voltage compared to if you ran you CPU at stock speeds?

I mean I guess... I am going to try overclocking to 2.6 and see if I can undervolt it more.... I want a good comprimise of Overclock and undervolt to achieve performance w/ low temps.

Alright a bit better at 2.6ghz.

    Managed a 12x multi of 1.5 down from 1.2250

Temps dropped from 74 to 68 total of 6 degree's........

I am using RM clock - what if I want to disable it all though and just go back to stock one day, can I just uninstall RM clock and all will be back to normal or what?

You can just exit RMclock and the voltage will go back to stock. Start RM clock, and it will change your voltage back to your values.

If your into overclocking, why not get into hardware based undervolting. You can pinmod your processor to run at lower voltages. It may yield more undervolting potential, but there is always the possibility that your processor will become less stable

You may get more out of upgrading to a T8300/T9300 or so and overclocking it. It has a lower TDP and its a more efficient processor altogether. It should be cooler at the same overclocked speed
