Do Clevo Laptops have battery protection like Alienware?

With me previous Alienware 18, it had a protection mode where the BIOS wouldn't charge the battery past 97% in order to prevent it from overcharging and thus killing the battery with time. Do Clevo laptops have such a feature where the battery wouldn't get overcharged to prevent it from dying?

Even after using my Alienware 18 for 1 year, the battery health was still @ 100% when I sold it.

I don't know if they have but everytime I run on battery, even if it was 100% plugged in, it shows me 97% immediately after I unplug. This is on a P650SE.

That is exactly what that guy asked. But seems no answer yet.
Anyway, it should not charge more than predetermined limit.

Supposed to stop charging after 100% That was my understanding with Clevo's "smart" lithion.

You set the % battery level at which it will start to charge and then the % level at which it will stop, it's to stop microcharging and thus prolong the life of the battery.

The DDI to DP and DDI to TBT are nothing to do with the battery, they just happen to be options in the Advanced BIOS menu - to switch graphical output between the DP (DisplayPort) and TBT (Thunderbolt Port). It was discussed a long time ago but you may remember from the owners thread that if you use the Thunderbolt Port, one of the DP outputs is disabled.

Correct, either in Control Panel software in Windows (GPU Switch Button, page 69 of the user manual) which requires a restart after changing the selection OR in the BIOS.

DP: I'm sure that you're referring to the DDI setting in the BIOS menu, which enables DisplayPort output to be routed to a device behind a Thunderbolt Dock.

    TB: That's Thunderbolt.
