    I was just wondering if Clevo have any new notebooks in the pipeline, i`m just trying to decide if i should buy now with something like a Q9300 processor or a D900F with an i7 but ive heard they are noisy machines.

    Do i wait for something exciting on the horizon or buy now ?

    there will always be new things on the horizon so theres not really a good or bad time to buy.
    860 and 870 have just been released so i cant see much more this side of crimbo.

    What i`m after ideally is a gaming laptop thats 17 inch minimum with i7 and Sli with a quiter version of the i7, do you think this will happen within the next 6 months ?

    I'd say maybe within 6-9 months as the M980NU just came out 2.5 months ago.

    You want a quiet SLI i7 17" gaming notebook? Nothing like that so far... an updated Alienware M17x might be the closest thing. I don't thing Clevo will release a 17" sli i7 notebook in a while... i7 and sli is what the M980NU will be for. Maybe they will for the next generation quad-core processors.
