The Clevo x7200 uses the Intel X58 Express Chipset which does not support SATA III:

(Just messin' with ya on the last link.
)
Er, is that a forbidden site? Sorry about the busted link. -
Got it.
Thanks for your reply...... quite a bad news... -

SATA III is relatively new- it's only featured with the newer Sandy Bridge models. The x7200 is from the last generation chipset (x58) versus the newer HM65 or HM67 models

well... I guess I have to form a raid ssd to acheive a 7.9 score on win7 and higher marks from other testing softwares (just for fun).
waiting my second ssd to be fixed... It only lasted 3 months.... -

If you're thinking of dropping an additional hundred(s) of dollars just to improve meaningless scores and benchmarks, you really should reconsider. -

RAID with SSD's is not recommended. There is not yet TRIM support for RAID'd SSD's, which means over time they will have performance degradation. The speed boost for RAID with standard desktop tasks would be nearly imperceptible anyway. -
Did it fail in RAID? What brand was it?
-
I heard there was trim support for the Intel 510...but again that's SataIII.
-
it didnt fail in RAID. It's my first ssd. Just die for no reason...It is Patriot Inferno 60G. Currently I am using OCZ VERTEX 2 120G. It works pretty good so far.

The 510 do support TRIM in a single drive set up but once you set it up in RAID it wont be anymore.
Do anyone know x7200 support sata3 or not?
