Its conductive obviously since it has silver in it and i see some chips are exposed more than their desktop counterparts. If they touch the little ?mosfets? right next to the die but inside the square is that ok or not? Do i just have to avoid the pins?
Thanks.

It's not conductive but it is capacitive, however it is an old and no longer the highest performing paste with long curing times so MX-4 or IC-diamond tend to be used these days.
As it's hard to predict where adding capacitance will cause issues really it wants to be kept to the core alone. -
Also is foil tape the best to use when trying to lower temps with the fans in the back? My cpu is hitting 80C while gaming :O

80C is not that strange IIRC due to the way the fan profiles are set.

75C GPU
With fans on FN+1. GPU is taped. CPU is not.
CPU is also throttlestopped to 3.2Ghz. ( Note this is in BF3) -

AC5 was really de-throned long ago.... It's a bit of a relic now, good but there are better options.
Do i have to worry about AS5 on a 7970m and a 2920xm?
