    Hi all,

I purchased a 4gb 680m off billyxq a couple of weeks ago (thanks mate) and now have time to fit it to my P170hm

I need to update the BIOS & EC which I am going to do now. (Currently still on BIOS 1.01.02, EC 1.00.05)

Then im going to use driver sweeper and safe mode ccleaner to get rid of my old 6990m drivers. Once ive installed the new card can I just get the latest drivers from the nvidia site or do i need to run modded ones? Had a search but cant find anything.

    Regards Jim

Since that model did not ship with that card then yes you do need to. Download the package and inf from the link above and de-active driver signing enforcement.
