Do the new Sager models have removable panels?

I remember looking at the previous Sager models on Power Notebooks (shame about them going out of business =\), the Sager's were shown to be easily accessible to replace things like ram and storage.

Is this true of the new models as well?

I don't see the panels specifically highlighted on any of the pictures for the newer models (specifically the NP8677, but it would apply to all of them I think).

The older models seem to have had removable panels for ease of access, is this still true or no?

    Thanks,

Yeah it isn't really marketed that way most of the time, but nothing has changed really. Still easy to access.

Great choice with the NP8677! One of the best things about sager/clevo is their easy upgradeability, typically just remove the bottom panel and have access to everything you need :)

Some models require you to remove the entire bottom case assembly (e.g., P650xx/P70xx and P870DM) to access components. They're still relatively easy to service, though models like the P750 and P770 have a compartment that exposes most of the components v.s taking off the entire backing.

Though that is easier to do than with most models, hiding screws behind hard drives etc ;)

If you are a big tweaker then the NP9778 is the lowest end 17" that allows the most tinkering.
