    Hello Guys !!
I'm new here and I'm looking for info or comparatives about DELL XPS M1710 or Sager/CLEVO M570U..

I've opened a thread here because I can't speak about DELL XPS as I wish in this Clevo's thread...

I think you have valued all the best possibilities to replace a DELL XPS and save money, do you ?

I've linked that thread also in my country (Italy), so there are many people that hope to find much more info on those high-end laptops before buying...

    The discussion is here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=103083

Thanks very much if you can help !! ;)

What do you need to know about the Clevo M570U?

First off read the reviews for this notebook, they are very detailed and informative:
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3017&review=Sager+5760
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3260&review=WidowPC

There is nothing really wrong with the Dell XPS 1710, its just that the price for what you get is what kills the deal. The Dell XPS is just a modified e1705 chassis with lights... I dont think that that is worth an extra $500-800 in markup.

I agree...the XPS M1710 is not worth the extra money. The Clevo M570U will give similar performance for much less.

I have tested both the Dell XPS M1710 and the Clevo M570U. I think the Clevo is the better machine; it's not a consumer-grade markup as the Dell is. The Clevo has/is:
-Superior build quality (more rigid chassis, stiffer screen, higher-quality plastic)
    -Number pad
    -Integrated camera
    -Front LCD Status display
    -Internal TV tuner option
    -Much cheaper.

Check the Clevo Guide for reseller info.
