Just want to get some feedback regarding the 306 driver. I'm having issues with this driver playing BF3, and had to fall back to 302 driver. I don't know if I'm getting more FPS, but my game seems to jitter from time to time like every minute or so, even though the frame rate never drops. Not only that, I get random temporary control freezes. My computer will work fine and the game will continue to play. But the control will be totally gone. I will lose control of my unit. The control just freezes up, and I get no response from my mouse and keyboard. Last but not lease, BF3 will randomly crash from time to time.

So finally, I got sick of this, and fall back to the stock driver. Game runs smooth even since.

I have a friend who runs SLI on this GTX580. He loves the 306 driver. Just wondering if I'm having an isolated case here.

    nope not isolated at all.
glad your stock drivers are working for you. ive tried latest whql and then latest on clevo site and finally done a system restore to get original drivers back as the were oem drivers and not on nvidia site.
almost every single game im getting a crash half way through multiplayer game. tried 4 diferent servers last night and each one crashed. im still moving but rest of map is on a loop for about 5 seconds and then it crashes back to desktop.
latest punkbuster patch which is meant to fix this didnt make any difference to me :(

My friend with an NP9170 and 675M upgraded his drivers to the 306 ones and BF3 would crash for him about every 5 minutes. I downgraded them back to stock for him and it's been smooth ever since.

Cool, thanks for the information. I was playing BF3 just now and someone also asked about this. He was getting random control freeze. Another guy immediately asked if he update a driver. Pretty much saying the new driver is causing problems with BF3.

Well, I do have the restoration CD from Sager and downloaded directly from Clevo as well. Don't even bother downloading anything from Sager directly. Sager's server sucked. It's too damn slow.

I would crash all the time with the 306.23 and now I Switched to the 302.92 and everything works good.

Both the 306.02 and 306.23 gave me crashes in BF3, especially getting constant FPS slow downs on the 306.02.

Just played it for about 30 minutes - no crashes or anything strange here with the new driver. Maybe it has to do something with the model? I have GTX 485m SLI...

At the moment it pretty much only happen on the Kepler GK104 chips. For GTX675M, if you are getting crashes, uninstall any FXAA injectors and the game should run fine.
