anythings possible. if they did i would assume it would be on their top end system.. maybe the 9261 replacement. but so far all the reviews and statements have been very mixed. some say its great others say its a waste..

and it'll probably stay that way :)
those that notice the difference, might love it
those who won't notice, will say it's a waste :)

atm I think it's not really a must-have, since there are no( many) games taking real advantage off it :)

I don't see it happening anytime soon. I strongly believe since multi-core processors are becoming more common, they can handle the "physics load" making the AGEIA uneccessary. I could be wrong, but that is what I believe. It's total waste of money, just a marketing ploy for Dell to boost sales and claim "the First and Only" laptop with extra crap you don't need and will most likely never use.

Now please, I am in no way saying AGEIA physics cards are bad. If you own one, great. You felt it was neccessary to buy one and I hope you are enjoying it. I was very tempted to buy one myself for the sole reason that I have money to waste and an extra pci-e slot (in my desktop of course).

if the game is coded for it then it's great. if not, then it's a waste. it's certainly not a bad thing to have it in your rig as it does give some future-proof protection.

AGEIA PhysX 100M is currently exclusive to Dell

... but should soon be available for other notebooks in a MXM format... probably MXM-I or II since the PPU only uses about 10w and has 128mb GDDR3.

It might not matter too much as of today's games and system requirements... even UT3 is coded to take advantage of multi-cores for physics calculations if you do not have a PhysX card.
