Hi, I'm in the market for a new laptop and strongly considering the NP2090 based on everything I have read. I use my computer for work and games (not necessarily in that order).

I travel a lot across town (I have 3 offices) and I've been using the Inspiron 8600 with 3 docking stations. I really like the 20" monitor and keyboard I can have with the docking stations when I am not on the road.

So does the NP2090 have any sort of docking station like this, or can I make my own with the 20" monitors I already have?

First time poster here, so I hope this doesn't seem like a silly question...thanks for all advice!

There are no specific 2090 stations but it will work with universal or generic docking stations. I'm actually looking into it myself.

With just the keyboard and monitor, though, you can just hunt for a cheap 2nd AC adapter and leave one at home. This way, all you need to "dock" at home is to plug in the monitor (vga port is on the left so it's pretty easy to access) and the keyboard.
