Does Clevo P650 come with 1050Ti - yes or no? Does any agent or reseller know?

If it's coming, I'll pull the trigger. If not, I look somewhere else (actually a friend of mine needs one too, but a 17 inch). Of course we can wait a bit longer, but not much (at max 1-2 month). But if it's not coming at all, then I prefer to know it now.

My preference for this specific setup is, that the P650+1050Ti likely hits the sweet spot in price/performance/quality. I'm not interested in the upcoming model N850+1050, because of the worse chassis and cooling setup. Also not interested in the P650+1060/1070, because it's heavier, hotter, louder, more expensive, requires more power.

If they were to do a P650 with a 1050TI it would be the same Chassis as the P650 with the 1060, so weight etc would be pretty much the same as the 1060 version.

From what I can see they are not making a P650/P670 with a 1050Ti. Latest range have been updated to use Kaby lake CPU's, but no lower GPU than the 1060

Yes, it's the same chassis. But the P650+1060/1070 contains additional metal parts and heatpipes for the cooling. This adds up to the weight (and also makes it worse for maintenance, i.e. the bridge between CPU and GPU). Notebookcheck has measured about 2.5kg for the P650SE and 2.85kg for the P650RP6-G. Add to that the 1kg 200W power brick for the 1060gtx, instead of the 0.5kg 120W brick for the 1050gtx, and it becomes worse. It all adds up with the 1060gtx and above, but isn't required for the 1050Ti. That's why I think it's the sweet spot.

I wonder if Clevo has nothing to fill the gap between 1.000€ (which is probably filled by the N850) and 1.500€ (which is filled by the P650RP6-G). There are some shops which sell a cheaper P650 with the 3gb version of the 1060gtx, but all shops in my closer environment (german speaking countries) only sell the 6gb version. So there is this sweet spot gap that isn't filled, and I don't know if it will be filled at all...

The P650RP6-G (15.6" 1060 based machine) does not have the larger CPU heatsink or thermal bridge between the CPU and GPU heatsinks.

Looks to me like there won't be a 1050/ti skew of the P600 series at all since the N850/N870 takes that spot.

If you go down to 14", the P640HK is 2KG and a 1050Ti.

Does anybody even have one? Who knows how good/bad the N8XX chassis is. It's probably much like the previous N150/170 or W350 series in build quality which are both pretty decent for their price.
