Curious if Clevo does revisions or not, as I'd love to see their 15" line of the P-15x's get a reboot. Granted the 8562 is on its way I'd see that more as a new model vs an upgrade from the previous. Was thinking like an 8268-Sv2 or 8258v2 w the following revisions:
New updated keyboard with better key depth ( doesn't stop 1/16" of an inch down when pressed )
Chassis update, sleeker look, I don't mind thickness, as it helps w/ heat dissipation, I'm not all for the thin look just yet until they really get a key in on these things.
Additional USB 3.0 ports ( the w230SS has 3 while the 825x series have 2 )
Can't recall if they have Pci-e sata slots or not or just M2
More screen options Gloss/matte 1080p 1440p and 4k options
Anything else feel free to add, though I"m sure at this point it probably wouldn't happen and would be an entirely new model instead, just would be nice to see, being that a lot of mfc's seem to be going this route these days, which I think is kind of neat.

would be too early for that in my book. my guess is theyll definitely release a new p-line once broadwell cpus with the respective nextgen gpus are available, so should be sometime in spring/summer next year

That is pretty much the case. Clevo does an update along with the Intel update simply because that is when you have to have a new mobo. This is not unique to Clevo. The chassis itself may not change. The P150HM/EM/SM are all very much the same with many interchangeable parts, but each update the mobo changes, and there are new ports etc. If the chassis is retained, and there is no reason they shouldn't retain it, it wouldn't be a V2, so much as a V4. The P157/177 are newer designs, so they would be a V2.

Cant think of any revisions they have done. When Intel comes out with a new CPU then we'll see different model numbers and sometimes different designs like keyboard etc.

Sooner or later, they should move on to eDP from lvds and possibly huge rework like the MSI, hopefully.

It's most likely when a hardware change requires a motherboard re-layout.

My guesses :
New Intel Chipset PCH (Duh)
Better cooling and fan table management
SLIM screen (IPS compatible)
Better Audio
more Hotkeys -

I think the improved handling of PCI express based M.2 drives will be one of the nicest features.
Does Clevo even do Revisions? P-15x related
