Online or Street stores it doesn't matter, does Sager have any resellers in the middle east? (dubai, Saudi, Lebanon, Qatar, etc....)
I need to buy a Sager NP8130 so badly, my HP DV6 just died and i got work to do. I cant ship internationally because i jump from one place to another every 3 weeks in the middle east. Considering the delivery delays and all it might not reach me on time. Add to that the extra dollar overhead for long distance shipping.
I am already aware of all the international shippers based back home and in Europe, no need to mention them.
Thank you Gents.

I don't know about resellers in the middle east, but XoticPC has done this before with an army-enlisted person in the middle east, and he got his machine just fine on time, with, according to him, a "four hour pickup window". If they can be so precise, AND you cannot find any other outlets, might want to take a look at them. Of course, let them know your exact situation beforehand. Basic stuff.
Good luck finding a seller for where you are! I don't have much else to contribute besides that praise for XoticPC's timing. -

We ship to multiple locations Worldwide every day. We ship to Dubai regularly and other Middle Eastern Countries. Shoot me a PM or email if I can do anything.

We ship very regularly to countries all over the world, and have many times to the middle east. Good shipping prices too...

Edit : never mind, Victron are no more in market.

The P151HM1 / 8130 has been shipping out regularly in 4-5 business days, so there shouldn't be any delays on this model. And with UPS Worldwide Express, you can have it delivered to the Middle East in just 1-3 days:

hi, MALIBAL , what does Active NBR Members mean ? because i am interested in the 40% off for the international delivery however I just recently found out this forum and the brand .

Well that might be an issue if you're new and just want to be active for the 40% off. I think it's there to reward the helpful/active people here, rather than a method of grabbing new people with discounts on shipping

what are the shipping fees to lebanon? and can i get my laptop serviced in europe?
-
Just wanted to check if Sager/Clevo now has some shops here in UAE. I can't do XoticPC or others like it since they only accept bank wire transfer.
-
If you would prefer to purchase from a company in Europe and have the servicing carried out there as well then our .co.uk website has shipping options to Lebanon. The shipping time is 2 business days and the price is £81 via DHL. When you select Lebanon on the shopping cart page of our website, it will take the 20% sales tax off the order for you but you will of course have to pay 15% tax when the laptop enters Labanon. DHL will contact you before delivery to arrange the tax. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact our UK sales department and they will be happy to help!
You may find that some other Sager resellers do accept card payments but I don't know for sure. We do accept all major credit and debit cards plus bank transfer in GBP or EURO and you can do this directly through our UK website

We do have a way to accept international cards. I normally would ask you to send me a PM but you need 5 posts before being able to do that. You can click on my name in my signature and that will open up an email, I can then give you more details about doing that if you're interested. -
Well too late, I already did the bank transfer, and can't believe I got the machine in less than 1 week after bank transfer. It's good to know you can accept international cards though. I'll keep that in mind when I order my next laptop from you guys.

Let us know how you get on with the new machine out there

Sounds good, congrats on your new computer! -
I guess I forgot to mention I got it from XoticPC. Just order it online and pay thru bank transfer when they send you the bank details. You should also note that using bank transfer will get you a 3% discount. Should take about 2 to 3 business days for them to receive it. You will be forced to get the UPS shipping but with good reason. Aside from getting your machine faster, it won't go through your government's postal system, which is most of the time crappy for other countries. Paid a small amount of customs tax, like 2%. Arrived just in time before Witcher 3 release.
I'd say the best time to buy it online is Sunday GMT+4. You'll get the bank details by Monday evening. Do the transfer immediately, they'll get it at around Wednesday their time. Machine gets packaged and shipped by Friday and arrives in Dubai by Saturday, then gets delivered on Sunday because our weekday starts on a Sunday here in the middle east.
This Sager NP9752-S is really sweet. Really have a fun time playing graphics-heavy games with it in Ultra settings.
My old MSI GT60 GTX 675m just can't cut it anymore.Last edited: May 26, 2015 -
Card payments for US based sellers aren't out of the question... they're out of the question if you don't live in continental north america. It's an anti-fraud thing as I've had it explained.
As for your accepting card payments... would you accept credit cards (visa or mastercard) from Trinidad and Tobago? You said "major" cards, but I would always like to be sure about these things in the information bank of clevo retailers in my head XD. -
Yup understand the reasons for this completely, I just didn't want to say for sure who did and didn't accept!
There are several countries that we can't take orders at all which is out of our hands - Iran and North/DPR Korea. Russia is difficult unless a company makes a purchase because their import regulations are a nightmare, Chinas and Kuwait are also tricky because of the same reasons.
Other than that, virtually every other country is fine. When I say major credit and debit cards I mean Mastercard or Visa as you suggested! It is import/export restrictions that dictate the above list of countries rather than fraud or card acceptance due to location - excluding the above countries it doesn't really make a difference from a security point of view where the card is registered.D2 Ultima likes this. -
That's a good point.

Well that's good to know! Now if only you were a worldwide company so I could have access to a clevo repair/parts shop down here... but I'd probably be one of 10 people who'd actually buy from you here, so that'd be a bad business idea XD.
-
Indeed, it would be very difficult to have a service center everywhere - then again every RMA that has to come back is shipped from somewhere, it would just take a day or two longer than if it were comming back from one of our European customers and our warranty can only cover shipping costs in that area.

If there happens to be a part that goes bad and is easily remove like RAM or HDD/SSD you can just send that part but to save a lot on shipping costs.
Does Sager have a reseller in the Middle east?
