HI,everyone.I just recieved my new sager np9390.When i buy it,i chose dual 765m due to my budget. Now i want to upgrade my laptop. One of my choice is dual GTX770m, but after i saw some performance test of that.I changed my mind! I'm in china. The price of GTX770m is equal to the price of Hd7970m,sometimes,even cheaper than gtx770m.So i think that hd7970m is my best choice! Lower price and higher performance. Now the only thing i need to konw is that the compatibility of hd7970m working on new sager p370sm or p375sm.Does anybody try it before? Some body may ask why don't you chooce hd8970m.Well chinese resaler have no hd8970 until now. Thanks for answering!

Didn't choose dual hd8970 is absolutely a mistake..........................

No reason it shouldn't work.. Just plug'em in and have fun.. Might have to mod the drivers, but I doubt it.

The AMD drivers typically don't have to be modded, you might just have to mod them to take the laptop model specific out of it, but I don't think thats needed, so just grab the latest from AMD.com

Dell cards do not have a good history of running in Clevo machines - at least, not without a vBIOS mod. It's best to find a Clevo card for a Clevo laptop. :)

thanks!Use dell's card is just a hypothesis.I can get clevo's card easily!clevo card is my first choice. The biggest problem is hd7970m running in p375sm.First of all, can bios distinguish the card? After that is the vbios. I heard about that there are some differences of 7970m's vbios between installing in 150em or 170em and installing in 370em. Is that ture? So many questions.........Frustrate.....

Since production on the 7970M was cancelled by Clevo before we received the new SM series, we don't have any units to test with. You may be able to get an answer out of Clevo directly or by messaging Prema here on the forums about the BIOS/vBIOS concern. :)
