    Does anyone know why my HM series does this?

    It seems if I leave the laptop on for extended periods of time eventually I will come back and find it at this screen and I have no idea why. Have to do a hard reset to get back into windows.

    Might be a hard drive issue, have you updated the firmware for the OCZ? Recent firmware updates have helped stability on those a lot.

    yeah up to date as much as I can make it but if it is just the HDD that is the issue I am willing to replace it.

    Do you know if the sandforce powered intel drives are any more reliable?

    Yep, intel drives are the most reliable. Doesent matter that they use the same sandforce controller as OCZ. Intel Firmware is supposedly awesome.

    I wouldnt know, because I never had problems with my OCZ Vertex 3 60gb. I am running 2.15 firmware. I know this, because I flashed it the second I installed it for the first time. So I never had any issues with it. Not once.

    If you are running 2.15 firmware, then I would guess your drive is off a bad batch.

    That happens to me too sometimes. I have the Seagate hybrid 500gb 4gb ssd and a WD in the caddy.

    OCZ current firmware for the Vertex 3 is now 2.22. OCZ Technology

    Double check to make sure firmware is up to date.

    Also, do you have hibernate or sleep enabled on your laptop? Some solid-state drives do not play well with hibernate and sleep modes. Try disabling either of those and see if your issues persist.

    @Eivind
    Could you please try running SeaTools on your drive to see if it picks up any issues? SeaTools can be found here http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/
    If you don't already have the .NET 4 framework, you will need to download that as well to run SeaTools. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718

    Same with my Hyperx SSD randomly I return to my HM left on and it has that on screen and requires a reboot. Has not happened in a while and is totally random. I have hibernation and sleep turned off. Its weird :(

    Interesting, Yiddo. What BIOS version do all of you have on your HM laptops?

    Do all of you use the sleep or hibernate function at all on your laptops? (scratch that question for Yiddo, he answered during post)
