    I use them to control the system sound.Could have been good if it's used for games but I have a mouse with many buttons :)

    Flight Simulator X - I use them to bring up the Garmen GPS and the Radio Stack.
    These normally require Shift + 2 and Shift + 3 - kind of awkward when flying the aircraft.

    There is an app called GameKey that is on the CD that comes with your computer that assigns your keystrokes to a button. GameKey does not come preinstalled with your laptop-you have to install it from your CD yourself.
