Hi guys, I am wondering does the sager np9150 have a recovery function and by that I do not mean a system restore, its more like a factory original setup, for example in my HP I just press f11 when I boot my laptop and then the system recovery option will show and it will format the primary storage and install the windows along with the drivers, its much easier since I will have my np9150 with no optical drive and I know the usb flash disk (for installing the windows) has a short lifespan with me and thanks.

Hi
as far as i know its not an option but you could always ask your reseller.
like you i had a hidden partition on my m860tu which was an optional upgrade and a F11 press on bootup would give you the option to restore.
if you order with a operating system loaded you do get the windows 7 dvd so you can load afresh but then have to load all the individual drivers from the driver cd included.
mine does say do i want to make a backup using windows so you have that option to burn to dvd (quite a few) or burn to external hardrive but this doesnt have the acronis or whatever software to load everything as new. -
With Sagers, factory original setup is just Windows 7 installed with the drivers on the DVD they provide. Easy enough to just do that or do a system image using Windows Backup after you install Windows and drivers and use that.

Sorry, there is no recovery partition for Sager/Clevo's notebook. Their tech support will guide you to install Windows 7 and drivers back if it is necessary.
