    Does some laptop has video input ?

    I have a mac mini , so i want some laptop which has video input .
    I know alienware has ,but I want to know is there some other laptop have . especially sager or some gaming laptop .
    I search on the web , someone said the clevo P157 P177 P375 P570 have DVI IN .
    But I check some website , it doesn't have .

    clevo was going to have it on certain models about 2 years ago. it was then pulled by the majority of the worldwide suppliers.
    it showed in the first issue user manual but the second issue it had been removed.
    guess it was removed for a reason due to it being crap and conflicting.

    You can maybe look into a USB3 hdmi input adapter.

    Only notebooks I've seen that offer it at all are Alienware.

    The x7200 did in later revisions (HDMI in).

    Is that a thing? That's be pretty neat. I've seen usb to hdmi for external displays..

    I did a quick google search as I though USB3 should allow that. If all you want to do is record the incoming stream for editing rather than displaying on the laptop display. If you do want to do that then you need to find a capture device with low lag.

    Yeah USB3 gives enough bandwidth for these sorts of things to work :)

    It seems USB3 is the only way . But the USB3 will need more space and not easy to take everywhere ....

    You should be able to get one small enough to go in any carry case.
