I need to buy a RAID enclosure so I can hook up 4 externals and access them individually (not for RAID), but I've read there may be problems depending on your motherboard. Does my laptop support this? If no, what about enclosures with USB 3.0? Thanks!

    Hey Synce,

I had a customer research this for me not too long ago and he informed that he was unable to get this functionality to work. USB 3.0 should work just fine though.

Thanks, I'll try one of the USB RAID enclosures and see how it works out.
