    Does the sager have video input ?

    Hello, everyone !
    I want to know if the sager has video input . maybe i will buy a psp or xbox . so if it has the video input . i can use it as the monitor . someone told me the old sager has video input . but he is not sure the lastest one . thx .

    There were a couple of old models but none of the current ones do.

    You need to get a USB adapter with video in, then you can use the monitor for xbox etc.

    Yes, a USB 3.0 with video in will do it. Be sure to check for lag in reviews as it will vary. Alienware has hdmi in on some models, and I am sure some other brands might as well.

    I don't know, as I just focused on gaming laptops. You may want to post in the what notebook should I get section.

    Monitors are pretty cheap, in fact they might be cheaper than spending more on a laptop with video in. I know the Alienware would have cost me an extra $375 over a simular Sager. And that was with a discount. I have seen monitors for close to a hundred. Then there are TVs with video in. Lots of options. In the end I liked the idea of video in, but it wasn't really a big deal to me.

    I havent seen any other brands besides Alienware that do have it.

    You could look for a model with HDMI input but the USB3 idea means you can get the machine that fits your other needs rather than compromising on one that has a native input.
