    does the LP171WX2 panel fit in my M570RU-U? It currently has the 1680*1080 screen.

    you want to go the a lower wxga+ res screen?? it will fit but the inverter may be different. you may have to re-use the stock inverter

    Thanks. I hope that the lower res makes the screen a bit brighter, because the original one is really dull.

    Edit: And the stock inverter will work with it?

    its pretty easy if you are decent with this kind of stuff. if not i maybe would not suggest it.. but its really not to hard
