    Hi. Does anyone knows whats the procedure to downgrading the bios of the m860tu?? im using the EC bios:.v10 and the system bios:v.12, im considering downgrading to bios 8 again to see if it solves the usn hub thing im experiencing....

    The same as upgrading. Run the EC first and then the system. I downgraded from .13 to .12

    downgrading the BIOS is the same process is upgrading it - simply burn the BIOS you wish to use onto a CD, reboot your computer with the CD in the optical drive, go into the boot menu, and select the optical drive as boot device. the rest should be fairly straightforward.

    You can change the bios with older version no problem
    same thing as to change it to newer version i have done this with few bios version for my laptop

    shoudlnt i downgrapde the bios first and then the ec???
    Since you upgrade the Ec first and the the bios...

    Why would you run the ec, isnt the ec for both the 12 and 13 bios versions the same(ec v10)?
