    I'm sure it will.

It might interest you to know that the driver I'm using now (175.97 from Sager) is the slowest one I've ever used by far (6-7% FPS dropoff in Crysis), but perhaps the best one I've ever used in terms of stability and rendering quality.

I did a reformat of my laptop last week (after about 14 months of use) and clean installed 177.92 w/Dox's vista64 alternative inf.

So far, I've had no problems whatsoever. I got a 3dmark06 score of almost 8700 with no tweaking of vista/graphical settings, and while I haven't tried many games yet, TF2 runs great (though it did before as well). I plan on reinstalling crysis just to see how it goes, I'll keep you posted ;P

thanks for the heads up on those :)
I've been waiting for something decent to come out,
the testers are busy testing some new stuff at the moment so once they gave me some feedback I'll start on these :)

Sorry I haven't gotten back, I got crysis warhead so I never re-installed crysis (and warhead doesn't have the built in benchmarking tools), but using Dox's INF and the CCC tweaks 2.21 (level 4) and with a few modifications (also, using dx9; dx10 drops your fps in warhead by like 10fps) for warhead at 1280x800 I get well over 40 FPS on average (and it looks great!). I haven't tried it at higher resolutions, nor have I compared it to using Pieter's inf, so take that what you will. I'll see about trying some higher resolutions tonight to try and benchmark it, and maybe even try Pieter's inf to see, if I have time.

    Sorry to be a bother,

I just installed your modded inf and the 177.92 driver. I followed the install by disc method and shut off the forced driver thing and now I get errors in both 3dmark06 and Vantage..I have not tried any games yet, will do that next. Let me know if there is something I should try..

    I have a Sager 5796
    P9500
    9800GTX
    Vista 64bit

    3dmark06
