Has anyone tried this new game on their Sager/Clevo? Wow, I'm impressed how smoothly it runs on my machine... the game's pretty addictive, I recommend it to anyone who likes story-based rpgs. The fights are pretty tough too, there's more to it then just hacking and slashing, gotta use your brains!

I had it for a few days. On my machines with everything maxed out (including Vsync) I get around 30 fps and 20 in some areas which pisses me off.
With resolution set to 1680x1050 and AA to 4x I get about 30-40 fps constant with vsync on). I don't have much time to play now so I've uninstalled it, but I might give it another spin next week. -
haha i didnt really check the actual fps or play with video settings too much i was too caught up in the game's storyline... i was just amazed how fast the game loads for the quality of the graphics, and was pretty happy with how the game looks with high settings (cant tell much difference between high and higher details settings)
how do you display the fps in game? -
The story line did not impress me, I am already accustomed to Bioware's story telling. So after 4 hours of gameplay I can guess I will have to fight one big black dragon at the end and most probably that witch of the wild at some point. Takes all the fun out. Still a good game, but I liked Mass Effect much more.

^Me too. Mass Effect was awesome! Looking forward to the next realease.

I just picked Mass Effect for $10 on steam
Now I gotta find time to get to playing it...

i was also impressed by how smoothly it runs on this machine at all levels maxed out. decent enough game IMO

plays as smooth as butter on mine, been playing for about 3 weeks and addicted as hell lol

I just picked this game up, but for xbox360.

after i over clocked the cpu the game ran wicked fast with no hang ups. very addicting as well

The game runs fairly well on my machine. At my native WSXGA+ with maxed settings and 2xAA, I average pretty close to 34fps.
I've found that reducing the detail from ' Very High' to just ' High' makes for a more fluid experience, and I have a very hard time noticing the differences between the two settings.
