I have to send my P750ZM back for repair. I am buying a P770ZM-G. I am wondering if I can pull the M.2 drive and the 2 SATA drives from the 750 and put them into the 770 without having blue screen issues due to drivers. It is Windows 8.1. I know I can probably come up in safe mode and do the drivers there but I am hoping for minimal downtime.

    Thoughts?

There is always the chance that a driver will cause an issue but since these are very similar, I bet you you will be safe.

You may want to re-install your GPU drivers otherwise you should be fine.

if the rest of the hardware is identical, especially GPU and wifi adapter, u should be fine :) although i wouldnt recommend this as a permanent solution! do not be lazy and avoid a clean install, thats always your best bet to have a proper and performant setup ;)

Yeah, I know and this would be a temporary measure. I ordered a Samsung 950 Pro to put in the laptop. I want to bring the current XP941 up so I can transfer data off it.
