hey guys, just curious about which driver u use? the ones that come with the CD? Or are u using the latest drivers available on the net, eg Nvidias 195.62 driver?

Also, DriverMax indicates most of my chipset drivers to be out of date?

Unfortunately I dont have the Clevo Driver CD with me to install them... What do you guys suggest? Where do I get all of these drivers in one package?

    Pick your poison.

I think the only drivers I loaded from the CD are for the peripherals like the webcam. The rest I downloaded from their respective websites. As for the Nvidia driver, I have been using 186.81 WHQL ever since it came out and it has been the most overall stable driver on my M38AW, M570TU, and W870CU. I really loathe all of the 190 and up drivers. They may be good for some newer games and for SLi support for those games, but for everything else they are rubbish.

Thanks for the info about Nvidia.

About the Chipset drivers. I wasnt able to dl from clevo site a few days ago, now it works. Well I guess I have to download the chipset drivers then if im right?

But I remember downloading them from Intel and it only updated a few of them? What driver package is it I have to download from Intel then? or clevo to update all of the drivers mentioned in the first post?

Nope I still wasnt able to download Chipset or Firewire or any drivers from clevo site, not sure why. It only downloads a file with 0kb....

I installed Chipset drivers from Sager and Intel Website, but they remain the same in Drivermax and Device Manager in Windows.

THEY wont update? anyone has a clue for this?

There are three drivers that I download from Intel, and they cover the chipset, the wireless card, and storage management, also known as Intel Matrix Storage. I don't use the chipset drivers from Clevo or on the CD as they are outdated.

Can u check ur Device Manager if they actually updated?

I installed the lastest Intel Drivers as well but the drivers never got updated. They date Year 2006. The problem is described here:
    http://www.overclock.net/intel-motherboards/606255-installed-win-7-x64-w-intels-2.html

I had to manually update every single item in the devie manager.

Current Version is 9.1.1.1013 but apparently 9.1.1.1022 is the latest.

    What does urs say?

If you want to force intel drvier installation, run the installer with the '-overall' switch, it will then install all compatible drivers whether or not you already have a driver installed.

Does a program like DriverMax actually work well? It just detects what drivers should be on there and goes to town downloading/installing?
