    I have an NP9170 with 2x Crucial M4 128gb SSDs. They're RAID 0 configured.

Also, this is the wireless card that Sager apparently put in my computer: Internal 802.11 B+G+N Wireless LAN + Bluetooth Combo Module

Who knows WHAT that is. I don't. Perhaps it's Realtek?

Problem is, I reinstalled Windows 7 and now I'm having problems. I can't find a working WLAN driver on Sager's website. The Bigfoot Killer and Centrino drivers are obviously not for me. So the only other ones are the Realtek drivers. But I get errors whenever I install them, saying no Network Controller was found.

Now for the Rapid Start problems..

Before, everything worked fine. Now, Rapid Start doesn't seem to work. I uninstalled all the Intel Rapid crap I can find, but I still get an error on boot "Your computer doesn't seem to have Rapid Start Technology enabled" or something like that, EVERY time I start up. I've gone in the BIOS to check and/or uncheck all the relevant stuff. I've uninstalled Rapid Start. There are NO rapid start-related items in my msconfig startup. So I have no idea what to do to get rid of the error.

Any help with these problems is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, that looks like a useful thread. Unfortunately I'm not really finding anything that works, as far as a WLAN driver goes. The stock Realtek driver says it's not compatible with my OS (Win 7 64 bit..).

The Intel PROSet doesn't seem to be for me. It's not listed as one of the compatible drivers on Sager's website under NP9170 drivers. Nor is the Gigabit LAN driver. So I don't know what to do.

might sound a silly question but you did turn your wifi on before attempting to load the drivers. Fn + F11 has to be pressed on and then try loading the drivers.

Usually the basic module is either a AzureWave or Aetheros NIC. If you didn't upgrade, that is.

As for the RST - do you have a hibernation partition?

I don't even use RST, it's not needed with an SSD.
