I have been looking for a new Monitor and I came across a good one I liked. The only problem is it only takes dual link DVI as an Input. Now I know the 150EM has a DVI output, but afaik its only single link right? is there anything I can do with the likes of an adapter or such?

Or does the 150EM have dual link output? does anyone know. I'm afraid I dont know anything about the DVI standards.

The connector looks like a dual, but internally i believe its wired as single. You would need an HDMI or DP to dual link DVI cable/adapter.

Yes it'll work, and a single link cable will work on a dual link connector; just not the other way around! You will be limited in terms of bandwidth though.

I believe you can find cables that have the right ends, they are more secure than an adapter.
