    Hi :)
Anyone tried setting up dual boot in this configuration ? I would like to boot properly through the Windows boot manager window and I am using separate physical hard drives (ssd's) for each OS.

VERY happy if anyone has this up and running and would share some info on potential problems etc..

Have you tried just installing them on free-space partitions? lol I don't see why you would have any issues. Windows 8 works and Windows 7 works, Win8 would probably be the best primary since it might have a better bootloader/OS Selection or GRUB it lol.

As long as the drive with the system partition with boot data is present when you install the second os you should be fine.

Thanks :) not that I am expecting big problems.... I do have enduro problems though so I was kind of wondering how things were playing out with the 7970m & Windows 8 ??
you never know with this AMD card....

I currently am dual booting my P150EM with 7 and 8 and have no issues. I have not tried using 7 to run the bootloader but 8 does it quite a bit different. 8 loads completely then gives you the option to load into the other OS. Its not a bad feature if you don't find yourself swapping to often. Otherwise you will have to wait for the machine to restart for it to load the other OS.

The 7970M runs fine in 8. I had to do a handful of steps to make Enduro work. I followed the steps here and was able to make it work. So far I really like Win8.

That was kind of what I was wondering. You see I have frequent bsod's on startup with enduro, so I was thinking that booting through Windows 8 would be a good idea. I will have to have a look at the amd driver installation for the 7970m, but thank you :) Now that is a nice forum answer, don't you think "Plancy" ? Seriously sometimes I just get so fed up of all the people that really don't get the meaning of the word FORUM.
