    Hi

I got a NP8760 (Clevo 870CU) with Nvidia GFX 280M. I was wondering if it is possible to later install a second Nvidia GFX 280M and run SLI?

and where do you buy a Laptop Graphics card? As I can't seem to find any websites that supply this.

    Welcome to the forum :)

No, you can not run SLI on a W870. Only room for one card. You can buy laptop cards at RJtech.com.

    Thanks

I was pretty sure that i could jam another graphic card in there. it certanly looks like it from the underside, looks like there is an empty vent port for an additional card, but i might be wrong as I havn't opened it yet.

You need to have a second MXM port to get SLI, the W870 only has one MXM port.

As you an see here, no room, or second MXM port as Blacky says.

    Ah I see

Thanks for the reply guys.. I guess I just have to wait and see if any of the new dx 11 supported cards will fit into my sager. Or just buy a new one in a year or so :)

The ATI 5870 is DX11 and it works fine in the 870.
