The EUROCOM D900F Panther not a future item anymore, it is considered a regular stock item...
I know a US seller will be probably a little less but just for fun I configured a mild Extreme Edition I7-965, US $5,200+.![]()

The prices for the i7 are ridicuoulous in comparison to how much they cost on the desktop.
-
you want the best, you betcha they'll have you pay for the best.
-
Very true, and then again it's Eurocom.

Just order it without the CPU and buy a 920, 940, or 965 online and save your cash. I know Eurocom doesn't let you configure a laptop without a CPU but if you call them and tell them you want it bare bones they should do that for you.
If not just wait until R&J Tech has them in bare bones and buy from them. -
It should arrive in May at rjtech.

We may find out more next week. John Shore (Retail Product Specialist) at EUROCOM said today that they will have the D900F next week and start posting pictures of it....Finally

Nice, I'm still not sure what to do, I want to wait for the new 40nm GPU's Nvidia will be releasing later this year, but I'm quite sure they WILL be an upgrade option for the D900F and M98NU in which case I could sell the 280M('s) and buy a GT212/300. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an i7 laptop but at the same time I want SLI even more than I want i7 and even more so I want both i7 and SLI but thanks to Clevo's major blunder I can't have it
Equally I do not want a deformed 18.4" (too big) laptop with a keyboard shifted off to the right (too weird and ugly) and over sized programmable buttons designed for 300 pound people with really fat fingers.
I dunno what to do about my next laptop anymore

Here are a couple shots inside the D900F for those interested.

Oh Justin! There you go again, stealing a march on Eurocom, and taking the wind out of their sails!

XoticPC FTW BABY!
I called Eurocom yesterday about getting a barebone of another Clevo model and the only way to do that is if you're an approved reseller buying at least 10 machines.
I'd love to bring Clevo based laptops here to Saudi Arabia, but I doubt I could afford to buy 10 computers EVER. -

Nice pics Justin, can you tell me if this laptop will also be offered in 1680x1050 resolution as well because I see on most websites Pre-order options its only 1920x1200 and I would much prefer 1680x1050.

At this time we unfortunately do not have any info on the confirmed display options. IMO I would think the same screen options for the 9262 will be available on the 9280 D900F.Crylo said: ↑Nice pics Justin, can you tell me if this laptop will also be offered in 1680x1050 resolution as well because I see on most websites Pre-order options its only 1920x1200 and I would much prefer 1680x1050.Click to expand... -

The use of "sails" is correct for the Shyster's context.
At any rate, I wonder if the D900F is lighter than the D900C. -

^Same weight. I posted some benchmark scores FYI in the other thread going.

As is eqmiami's emphasis of the double-entendre of the word (and the object that XoticPC's business-savvy plays havoc withdtwn said: ↑

Also true, I was merely wondering if he was serious about the mistake he "thought" you had committed.Shyster1 said: ↑As is eqmiami's emphasis of the double-entendre of the word (and the object that XoticPC's business-savvy plays havoc with

Interesting, would have expected the D900F to be slightly lighter. -
I guess we'll have to weight and see what he has to say!dtwn said: ↑Also true, I was merely wondering if he was serious about the mistake he "thought" you had committed.

So, with the Sager coming out at ~$2200, we can officially call the $3k D900F Panther overpriced right?
-
You still need to pay VAT if you buy it from US and live in a another country.
