    Hello everyone,

I have been trying to find the download to the latest EVOC Clevo P870TM1 and I cannot seem to find it. Just trying to bring back the backlighting on the keyboard and such.

    Thanks all!

I actually found it but now just trying to figure out what the different modes are for. There are no tool tips for anything, so its very hard to know whats actually changing between the modes.

For example, what is the difference between "Performance" and "Entertainment" ? Which is used for gaming? What are the differences between the two?

theyre analogous to the windows inbuilt power profiles. performance is equivalent to windows high performance, whereas entertainment is equivalent to balanced mode. i always keep it on high performance, but thats just me ;) any other questions? just shoot :)

Yeah I am just trying to figure out how to setup a custom fan profile for the 1080, any way to do that?

Also if theres a more configurable way to setup fan stages for the CPU temp and GPU temps that would be helpful!

unfortunately, nope. u can just use whats given in the control center. so basically just fan start / stop temperature (CPU dependant) and maximum / minimum % of max. rpm.

Where does it show the min/max of the fan? I see 3 options and they are only
    Start temp
    Stop temp
    Fan speed

So essentially its either full blast or some lower setting. Is this really the only control we get over fan speeds?

the fan speed is relative to its max speed. so 60% of max speed, 80% of max speed, etc. so you can define the range at which it should operate, but not detail at which temp exactly. so its a very rough fan curve.

yep thats the only control you get. other fan profiles are presets, i.e. you can use the overclock fan profile which ramps up the fans VERY fast but also quickly comes down again. i for one stick to automatic for everyday usage (very quiet but efficient) and resort to max fans (Fn+1) when benching.

figured as much :) other resellers do, too, just chose Sager as the largest of them (and definitely faster download speeds than the Clevo main site :p )
