Good afternoon everyone.
As the title states, the GPU overclocking utility that I believe was built into CCC has randomly disappeared from the right-hand side of my task bar in Windows 10.
I don't need it to actually OC my GPUs, but rather for using the 'overclock' fan profile to control temperatures. I do still have the Flexikey and CPU memory OC icons down in the task bar.
Can someone please tell me how to get that option back, or better yet, tell me if there is a newer/better way to control the fans? Any help is much appreciated.

That happens all the time, the software is just buggy.
You can get the OC fan profile back by editing mtlanguage.ini which is in C/Program Filesx86/Hotkey. Under en-US add a line saying FAN_O=OVERCLOCK .
If you want the GPU Overclocking back you can go into oem.ini and change SupportGPUOC=0 to SupportGPUOC=1 . That value is under [ControlCenter]KY_BULLET likes this. -

@Arrrrbol thank you for the quick reply.
I went in and made both of the changes you suggested, and now 'Overclock' does appear as a fan speed option. However, I still do not have the option to open the GPU overclocking GUI to adjust the fan speed percentage.
When I try to run the GPUOC program manually from within the Hotkey folder, I get the window shown in the attachment. This window used to show both GPUs by name as well as a lot more information and many other options.
I think this problem started when I updated my GPU driver a couple of weeks ago, but maybe that had nothing to do with it since you say this randomly happens.
I am running CC v5.0001.1.27. Unless you have any additional advice, I'd like to uninstall the Control Center and reinstall it. What is the best version number, and where should I get it? I got the current version by Googling 'Clevo drivers download', which led me to this: http://www.clevo.com/en/e-services/Download/default.asp.
Again, thank you for the help.

I was having similar issues with mine on my DM-G until I reinstalled it, now it seems to be working fine. Now that its working though, i'm just leaving it alone so it doesn't break again.
Not sure which version of CCC is best. I'm still using the standard one that is available on the driver page as well.KY_BULLET likes this. -

This is what happens when people start hiring monkeys to write logic code.
There is a reason MSI Afterburner exists....
And there is supposed to be some beta program to control fan speeds on the Clevos now, but you have to ask for it....KY_BULLET, cj_miranda23 and Arrrrbol like this. -

Noted. I will keep messing with it, and I appreciate the help.
I have read on these forums many times that MSI Afterburner and Clevo laptops do not mix well. Does Afterburner allow for precise fan control?
Also, what is the other program? Do I ask my re-seller? -
Funnily enough mine bugged out on me last night when i accidentally clicked the power saving profile - stopped the GPU fan from being controlled. Thankfully a restart fixed it, but its just another issue with that horrible software.
I use Afterburner for overclocking, but I do not believe the fan control works. There are several people who have been working on proper Clevo fan control software for the past few years.
This thread popped up last week, might be worth taking a look: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/something-interesting.821471/KY_BULLET likes this. -

I uninstalled CCC again and reinstalled v5.0001.1.54 from the Clevo download website. I also had to go in and manually edit the oem.ini file to allow GPU overclocking per your first post, but everything is working normally again. I appreciate the help.

I am experiencing a new issue with the GPU OC program that I didn't notice before. If I set overclocking to 'ON' or try to change any of the GPU clocks, and then try to save, the circle of dots just goes on forever and I have to manually close the GUI. I have seen many comments on how poorly CCC was written and now I'm starting to see what those people are talking about.
I tried uninstalling CCC altogether, but then the fans are not aggressive enough and the GPUs get way too hot. Is there a certain version of CCC that has fewer broken options than the rest? The reason I ask is because I see many different versions on the Clevo driver website depending on what laptop model I select in the drop-down menu. I know that CCC 2.0 won't work on this computer.
Any help is much appreciated.Attached Files:
