I've been experiencing more and more electric shocks from my p150hm as of late, especially when I touch the fingerprint area (between the right and left click of the trackpad) and the usb ports.
What's with that, it didn't use to be like that in the first months. Now I can get "stings" even when I slightly touch the speakers. Anyone got an idea?

contact your support immediately.
it could just be static from something like brushing your hair (unless your bald) but you need to make sure its properly earthed.
take the mains out and just use battery and see if you still get the same shocks. if not then you need to check your psu and mains cable. -
now THAT would scare the crap outta me

Your laptop has gained consciousness and is trying to electrocute its slaving master.

This is ridiculous, I cleaned its inside the other day with compressed air, why would it want to hurt me?
On a serious note, I tried without the ac adapter, and it's ok, thanks MrDJ. Which is strange, cause I was under the impression that it shocked me even without it one time. But now it's definitely it, even the plug that goes to the laptop has some kind of static electricity when I touch it. And of course the fingerprint area is an electrical landmine.
I'll definitely contact the seller to have it checked out. -
your welcome. sounds like a dodgy psu then.
they should replace that under warranty without any problems. -
is your PSU connected to a 3 pin wall plug?
-
It wasn't the psu turns out.
I changed the extension cord that I plug it in, and now I have no problems.
edit. @silverfern, extension cord that plugs in a normal plug. I also use some UPS protection box. Not that it matters now. -
OMG... Does anyone know if the Clevo 120W power supply brings earth cable connection? (3 cables and not just 2).
I bought W110ER, but I paid 30€ more for upgrading the power supply from 90W to 120W, and since it cost like hell it better bring EARTH cable connection. Because only the 30€ extra I paid for the upgrade is enough to buy a 120W Universal power supply that fits almost every laptop on the planet, and Those don't bring Earth cable.

Injured by a Laptop? Call 444-4444 I'll sue anybody or ANYTHING ;-). Seriously though, on a similar note my XPS15 definitely gives of an electrical "aura" if you will when the lid is closed and plugged in.........but that goes away when it's unplugged so I figure it's due to poor grounding or w/e.
