I've noticed that P150EM does not seem to output to external display unless booted in OS (and drivers installed).
This means, you can't see BIOS screens, blue screens, boot menus, etc. on external display and is mildly annoying (I am, for example, like to stash laptop away when working on main desk).
P150HM was not like that, and I don't think its particular limitation of HD 4000 video output - so I'd assume its just BIOS not enabling this option.
I wonder if its possible to BIOS mod it? Any expert opinion?

That's something in the Intel HDx00 vBIOS...some version do that some don't...is your main BIOS on v16, yet?

v16 BIOS uses v2143 HDx00 vBIOS, I'll make a test version for you with v2158 and PM you...though you have to disable Win8 secureboot for the vBIOS to load on boot.

I use Windows 7 so it should be fine.
Do you think its safe to flash? I am a bit concerned that if it won't work (so there could be no display output).
For such possibility, is there a recovery/bootblock procedure on P150EM?

I flashed it on my W110ER and the only downside was non-working brigness settings because of different ACPI table...
