Just received the intel turbo memory 2GB from PCMW today and installed it along with my Blu Ray Writeable Driver (Yes, I'm gloating :D)

Now everything seems to be running fine until I restart the system, then I get the same blue screen of death starting up my system that I get when I didn't have the turbo memory and installed the software in the first place.

I used a restore point and moved back to the time right before installing the software and then installed it again but did not restart my system this time.

I loaded up intel turbo memory program and it detects it just fine with Windows ReadyBoost enabled. However, when I load up Intel Matrix Storage Console, I get the error

"the raid plug in failed to load, because the driver is not installed correctly."

What could be the situation here? Thanks in advance.

Anyone can offer me any assistance to this problem? I believe this is the reason why I am getting the BSOD whenever I install the turbo memory drivers.

I think that when you add turbo memory, you need to re-install vista for it to work properly, atlesat this is the case on the M570RU

I see. Hmm, I'll try that if that may be the case.

Didn't work. But my system did benefit from a nice clean installation. :)

Hopefully Intel will have some answers for me.

Now that I am looking back, I remember that the hard drive fix for m860tu's used to make my laptop get the BSOD upon starting it. When I check it out, low and behold, its the same Intel Matrix Storage thing that people recommend that I install.

So I believe its not a case of Turbo memory anymore. I feel like that will run just fine if it were installed on its own. Its this Intel Matrix Storage that I'm running in problems with and that the error message that my 'raid' is not set up properly can be the reasoning why I am getting those BSOD.

For those who have the m860tu, how do I set up my 'raid' properly? (I have two external hard drives, one a seagate and the other a simpletech and the internal one is a Hitachi)
