    Ethernet port stopped working out of the blue

    my p150em has the realtek PCIe GBE family controller LAN port, it just stopped working out of the blue. it was still working well yesterday. the only major thing i did was install nvidia 310.54 beta drivers. i tried to disable it and enabling it, uninstal the driver and then installing again, update driver using windows update and updating using reseller's drivers. nothing works, attached a picture of my device manager

    Have you happened to try switching the other end of the cord into a different Ethernet port? I've had ports randomly die on me before.

    the problem is i can't even see the adapter in the list, only see bluetooth and wireless

    It's actually there. Realtek PCIe GBE etc...

    i mean when you go to network and sharing center, and then go to change adapter settings, the lan port isnt there. usually is when its working right
