If you have not read i got a bunk hard drive with me m860tu from Eurocom. Today i gave them a call and they were very understanding and helped me out by allowing me to purchase my own hard drive and they would give me a refund for the 320 Gb 5400 rpm drive i got from them.

After school i went a got a 320 GB 7200 rpm Seagate, because Eurocom gave me enough back to purchase this drive + have a little extra in my pocket.

Then i got home and began to install the new HD. However! what i found pissed me the **** OFF. Here are some pictures of a dropped hard drive that they installed in this lappy and then shipped to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So there's just a little scratch on the HDD or you got another one?

That's horrible, hope your new hard drive works out better.

Tell us if the 7,200 rpm one is noticeably faster than the 5,400 rpm one.

Call them and explain your disapointment. They should solve the problem. I think Eurocom cares about their customers. You probably just got a bad technician.

read my orinial post, they compensated me for the broken 5400 with its price + more. I was able to purchase a 7200 rpm 320 gig hard drive. and still have money left over.
