Hey everyone! I've purchased my first Clevo laptop last week from Eurocom in Canada. The laptop is the Sky MX5 R3 (P650HS). I've ordered specifically from Eurocom due to their exclusive 4K IGZO LCD option. At any rate, once I've received my laptop and tested it out, I felt the screen is a bit disappointing.
On white or light color background, the screen exhibits a weird hazy/greasy layer. It's annoying and distracting and I was wondering if anyone else with the same panel can identify this problem. Here are a few pictures taken from my phone that showcase this problem:

Any other 4K panel users report such issues? Is it that noticeable?

Those images aren't working.
Try reuploading / relinking. -

That's the anti-glare layer. With high DPI screens (such as 4k on 15.6") a fine-grained ag-layer should be used; what you're seeing here is the grains of the filter.
Not much to do, apart from stripping the ag and turning the display into a glossy (risky). Alternative is swapping it out with the glossy version of the same screen; all panels are glossy originally, it's just the antiglare that makes it a matte. -

It's the trade off you make for being able to use it outside at all.
